Welcome to Orchard Frames
Framing
As well as pictures and photographs, we can frame medals, dried flowers, baby clothes, football shirts, boxing gloves, plates, fossils, old coins and even parts of animal skeletons. More conventionally, we also offer a stretching and framing service for all forms of embroidery, including cross stitch and tapestries, preserving them against dust and dirt. Practically anything can look better framed.
We offer advice and take the time with you to look at your picture or article to be framed, help you to choose the mount to set the picture off to best advantage and guide you to pick the optimum frame for your art work and budget.
Alternatively we also offer a wide range of stock frames, so that you can pick your frame and insert your own photograph etc., in the comfort of your own home.
Dry Mounting
Our new dry mounting service turns a basic poster or crinkled watercolour into a durable and pleasing picture by the use of a dry tissue adhesive that is activated by heat from a heat press to bond art work or a piece of fabric to a mounting board.
Dry mounting is primarily used to mount photographs, posters or any artwork that is water-sensitive. This system of mounting flattens the artwork to give a clean look.
Pictures

Presently we have a number of David Eddington's signed limited edition prints of his coastal scenes and a collection of Rose Eddington's floral prints. Both are local artists.
Further afield, we also have a number of Steve Robert's stunning photographs of the Lake District, as well as a number of original pictures by Mike Webb, local artist and cartoonist in the Diss Express.
We have framed maps of the local area as well as signed limited edition prints of Scottish scenes by Gillian McDonald and jazz musicians by Ben Woodhouse. There are also some lovely East Anglian views painted by the Suffolk artist John Burman.
From time to time, we are also privileged to have a few of the Icelandic artist Karolina Larusdottir's limited edition prints, inspired by her childhood upbringing in the grandest hotel in Reykjavik, as well as an imaginary world of people in strange situations.
Please visit us to view the pictures as the range changes constantly.
Mirrors
We have a range of mirrors already framed for you to choose from or you can select your own size mirror and frame it to suit your own spaces and requirements.
Alternatively, you may have a piece of your own mirror glass, for example, an old piece from an old wardrobe door, you might want to re-use and we would be happy to frame it for you.
We also have a selection of brochures for you to peruse, to find that special mirror, for that special place.
Other Services:
Moulding
We also offer an extensive range of moulding, which we are happy to sell by the length, for your requirements.
Laminating
We offer a laminating service, for example to protect a piece of paper or a notice, without the need for glass.
We look forward to being of service to you.
